I think i have a virus or hijacker or something in my computer as for the past few weeks every website i go on has the same advertisment whereever the advertisments are its for pills. Also when i search for something on like gooogle ect or anything and i click on something like a link it dosent bring up the right link half of the time. I have been trying to do a sytem restore to a point a few months ago when it was fine but when i first click on it nothing happens and so i go back in and click it again and then the window pops up but its comnpletely blank with the wee not reponding icon in the top left hand corner. I dont know what to do to make this work but i recently got nortons 360 on my laptop and ran scans and it removed threats ect but it still happens cant get restore and get thos adds and stuff. I Was told it may be a hijacker. I was wondering if it fixes and ridsit as it hasnt really done any good yet and i paid ?0 for it and also how would i do it with it??? Any Ideas ***10 POINTS IF YOU CAN FIX IT****

| I have windows movie maker 2.6 and windows live movie maker although windows movie maker 2.6 is preferable as i find it easier to use! I was wondering if anyone knows how to rip videos off youtube (virus free) =) and put them into windows movie maker 2.6 and edit them and stuff. any help would be gratefully recieved! =) lol xxx

| I have virus, and i want my computer to be freshly new, with nothing on it, like it was when i first got it. How can i do it? I also have (Vista Premium), so i do not know if that makes a difference on how to do it.

| there are a couple of unusual icons on my desktop. white little windows with a strip of blue. one says: service and the other, winsound. are these trojans. i am having a lot of problems with my computer.

| Hello everyone, i just installed a new PSU and GPU. I think i hooked everything up fine, then my PC got shut down twice, i thought it was the CPU overheating. I connected the fan in more tightly, that may have been the problem. However, my CPU is having a hard time running basic programs. As Im typing this, my CPU percentage is fluctuating between as low as 10% and as high as 30% or even 60% at times!! Im pretty sure i have no viruses, infact, this issue didnt start happening until i installed the new parts. Is it overheating? BIOS upon bootup says my temps are like 37degrees celsius. Anyone have ideas?

| My sons have an HP one year old laptop running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Of course, just turned a year old two days ago and warranty is now up. There is not a lot of software on this thing. I installed ESET Nod32 and it runs well. I just scanned and there are no threats found. No popups are appearing in IE. There is no sign of a virus anywhere. There are multiple problems that I cannot figure out. When we try to shut the computer down, it gets stuck in Logging Off screen. I try Ctrl Alt Delete to bring up Task Manager but it will not appear. I get the Icon down in the lower right part of the screen, but cannot click on it to open it up. I tried to do a System Restore. I select it, but nothing happens. When I try doing it all over again, it says that it is already running, but it is not. I have tried uninstalling things they dont need but the uninstall freezes up also and when i hit cancel, it just remains cancelling without doing anything. I am usually pretty good at fixing things but this one has me stumped. If I could just do a restore, i feel like i could get it back to where it was before this started happening a couple of days ago,. Any help is appreciated.

| i have avast but i used pcpitstop scan and it says i have four major viruses how do i find and delet them for free? any free software that gets rid of all viruses?
